At Grizzly, we partner with Adventurous Brands to build a more purposeful, people-first world. As we grow, we’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to drive progress on our client work and deliver exceptional service to our expanding list of clients.
In this position, you will facilitate the success of client relationships, provide strategic input, and come up with creative solutions to meet client goals. You’ll guide the internal team toward execution as you develop project plans, manage project milestones and deliver client work - on time and on budget. Ultimately, you will be a trusted advisor to our clients and champion their brand/values/needs internally to ensure that we continually exceed their expectations.
You’ll be working with an enterprise, B to B SaaS client, so you must have experience managing or supporting on tech accounts of that sort. You should understand the industry, the jargon, and be ready to jump right in. Most importantly, you should possess confidence, emotional intelligence, and the drive to help clients reach their highest potential.
What You’ll Do
Take the lead on account management for one or more of our clients.
Serve as point of contact between Grizzly and the client(s).
Build strong, long-term relationships and maintain frequent contact with clients.
Collaborate with the team to prepare project recommendations and plans to meet client goals.
Provide strategic and creative input to guide the direction of client projects.
Maintain status sheets and work with Project Managers to manage project deliverables and milestones.
Work with leadership and creative teams to ensure we’re delivering and selling bold creative work that will differentiate and solve clients’ problems.
Effectively manage and navigate client requests, advocating both on behalf of the business and our team.
Manage relationships and projects from start to finish, ensuring successful and on-time completion against deadlines.
Develop and manage measurement, analytics, data gathering, and reporting for client(s) and agency.

Mostly, we want to know that you can get this job done. This means, you have/are:
At least 5 years experience brand/marketing/communications strategy in integrated, brand and digital communications within an agency.
Experience working with tech clients required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications, marketing or related field.
Proven track record of supporting clients and expansion of client accounts.
Ability to identify strategic needs and generate alignment with key business partners.
Ability to manage multiple business initiatives in an entrepreneurial environment.
Knowledge of all functional agency departments, capabilities and service areas.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with all agency personnel.
Excellent project management and prioritization skills, including the ability to weigh client requirements, produce project plans, estimates, schedules and budgets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Skilled at solving problems and making decisions in high pressure situations.
Knowledge of project management systems, Google Suite, and Slack.
Additionally, you must be located in (or willing to relocate to) San Diego. Some travel required.
This is a full-time, permanent position, starting immediately. Because we are rapidly growing, you would be getting in on the ground floor at Grizzly, with the opportunity to evolve with us and shape your future here.
